The Ontario Steelpan Association and the Toronto Caribbean Carnival present Keepin' Pan Alive, Canada’s premier steelband competition! Kick off your long weekend on Carnival Friday night at Lamport Stadium, where the powerful rhythms of Trinidad & Tobago come alive under the stars.

Some of North America’s finest steel pan orchestras will go head-to-head, competing for the coveted title of Best Steel Band. Throughout the night, you'll be treated to spectacular live Caribbean-flavored percussion and masterful steel drumming. A panel of expert judges will score the performances on arrangement, group performance, tone, and rhythmic execution.
