Chuck Hughes – the lovable host of Chuck’s Day Off and owner of Montreal hot spots Garde Manger and Le Bremner – is hosting a special TIFF dinner at Brant House on September 6th to kick off TIFF 2012. Aptly called Chuck’s Night Off, the event will feature a menu inspired and crafted by Hughes himself for all the ravenous guests. RSVP for the limited 7pm and 9pm seatings to info@thebranthouse.com.

As the name suggests, Brant House Lounge was conceived as a home away from home - not uptight, but friendly and professional. Throw into the Brant House mix Toronto's most attractive, smart and attentive staff, as well as a DJ spinning some retro beats and you experience the restaurant's subtle transformation into a stylish post-dinner party.
Brant House and Restaurant's look is modern and cozy. The Brant House feeling is residential, like an old world home. Original to the 7000 square foot space at Brant House are thick spruce beams, pale exposed brick, and plank maple flooring poised against a generous expanse of creamy Indian granite and the witty, modish fixtures of Danish design darlings, Moooi. A fluid constellation of dining, cocktail, and lounge areas are outfitted in powder blue and chocolate furnishings, crafted especially for Brant House Lounge.
