Caribana 2010 Official Launch @ Yonge/Dundas Square

The Scotiabank Caribana Festival Season begins with the Official Launch ceremony. This kickoff event gives the city of Toronto a taste of what's to come in the upcoming weeks ahead. There is an array of performances by popular Caribbean music artists. The Band Leaders for the parade showcase their elaborate costumes that will be presented in the Caribana Parade. As well, you will be able to taste some of the Caribbean's traditional and favourite foods that will be available at many of the Caribana Festival events.

    I think there's a mistake here - on the Yonge & Dundas Square page it says the event is from 12pm - 2pm. There is something else going on in the evening.

    With out any doubt, 12 pm starts the afternoon hours.

    Thinking of coming for caribana, when they say 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. is this event 12 noon to 2 a.m. or 12 midnight to 2 a.m. Confused.
